Victorian Townhouse Reimagined

London-based practice Layzell Architects recently completed the renovation of a 4-storey home in the heart of Kensington, seamlessly blending traditional and modern design elements to create a sophisticated, cohesive interior. Central to the reconfiguration of the floor plans were several Envo internal door systems, carefully chosen to enhance both the functionality and aesthetic of the space. Among these, the Envo Slide pocket door system played a key role.

Aspen at Consort Place

Completed in 2024, the Aspen at Consort Place is a mixed-use development by FEC (Far East Consortium) and Pilbrow & Partners. Aspen consists of 495 prime residential apartments. At 65 stories high, it is the third-tallest residential building in Canary Wharf. Envo collaborated with the developers and architects on over 600 door sets, including timber sliding and flush doors for the Aspen apartments and the adjoining Dorset hotel.

Fully completed in 2023, this super prime development includes 52 apartments, 3 penthouses, 2 mews houses, a spa, and a private cinema. A modern thatched family home features a large pivoting exterior door. Made from glass with a steel frame.

The Atrium, a mid 70’s office block in the Zuidas business district of Amsterdam was transformed by MVSA Architects in 2017. A key element of the internal redesign is a huge pivoting wall that opens and divides the large foyer. Four door leaves, each weighing 500kg, offer a full 360 degree rotation at the touch of a finger.

System 3 is Envo's 360° rotating pivot with four hold positions; most commonly used for pivoting walls.
