Chalk River House
Completed in 2024, Chalk River House is an outstanding new home on the River Test. Designed by architect studio, Oliver Leech, the project includes several Envo steel-glazed doors and fixed screens. Accentuating the beautiful river views and allowing natural light to flow throughout the modern interior, the project features hinged and sliding doors to the living room, kitchen, pantry, and bedroom.
For the primary bedroom, double steel-glazed doors in our Parkside design were specified in a subtle tone that perfectly blends with the textural clay wall finish. These sealed doors lead to a large ensuite bathroom.
On the ground floor, a fixed screen and hinged steel-glazed door in our Acacia design enclose the family living room whilst allowing the panoramic views of the garden and river beyond to be seen throughout the house.
Two single sliding steel doors open to the kitchen dining area. These steel-glazed pocket doors enable light to flow through the rooms even when closed, when open they are neatly hidden within the wall.
Behind the oven hob, two glazed screens were specified with a striking reeded glass. Obscuring a clever bar area to the right and a pantry and additional worktop to the left.
The temperature-controlled pantry features a sealed hinged door in our Acacia design. Insulated glass is used across the door and the fixed screen of the pantry.
