Pocket doors are a versatile combination of aesthetic and functional possibility. Disappearing into the wall to reveal the complete opening, they can be used to make a statement, as well as saving space. The various types of system out there encompass a range of technical configurations tailored to specific requirements. Different systems have different structures and methods of installation, so here's a breakdown of Envo Slide and what you can expect.
The Envo Slide system is a self-supporting comprehensive solution for pocket doors, with an invisible top track, full adjustability once installed, and requiring no goal-post structure. Here’s an overview of everything that’s included in the kit:
There are also some extras you can add to your kit, such as:
You could also upgrade your kit to suit a thicker door: for example, a door leaf of 54mm or even more, going up in 10mm increments to 84mm thick.
It’s important to note we do not supply any I beams or timber studwork. Our pockets doors are self-supporting by design and are supplied this way as standard – this is an important consideration as many other systems require a goal-post structure to take the weight off the kit and the doors.
Hopefully, you have found this blog helpful in giving a quick overview of what the Envo Slide kit includes, as well as the optional extras available.
