What does the Envo Flush door system include?
Envo Flush has been designed with our clients in mind – rather than evolving from a functional riser door system, it has been purposely created with premium components and materials suitable for the architecturally lead requirements.
The principle of the system means that the frame sits behind the plasterboard, rather than in front – any impact from a slamming door is absorbed by the rigid frame and the wall. This is in contrast to a wraparound profile whereby the plaster connection is the weak link that is prone to cracking. You can read more about this here.
Depending on your application, and the required fire ratings, the Envo Flush door system is supplied as:
Aluminium frame, cut to size
Our single and double flush door frames are made from rigid aluminium and suitable for both left and right-handed doors as well as inward and outward openings. They can be used with masonry and plasterboard walls. Cut to size, they leave a minimal 2mm gap between the door and frame. They’re available as a 2-sided frame for ceiling height doors, 3-sided for standard height doors, and 4-sided for cupboards or riser cabinets. The aluminium is supplied primed for paint as standard and immediately ready for the final finish coat. 3D hinges or pivot mechanisms
We will provide you with a 3D adjustable hinge dependent on the door weight. Enabling precision alignment these hinges allow for movement in three directions - height, depth, and width. Fine-tuning of the door's position is also made possible by the ‘Easy Hook’ feature. Separated into two parts, one part of the hinge is fitted to the frame and the other to the door. This feature makes it possible for the door to be fitted by one person by simply lifting the door leaf and hooking the hinge parts together ready for the screw fixings.
Our Flush system is also available to order as a pivoting door. Compatible with the fantastic FritsJurgens System One and System M+ products, the pivot mechanism replaces concealed hinges, creating further design opportunities and an unparalleled user experience.
Magnetic latch
Optionally, a strong magnet can be fitted in pairs to the door and its frame giving a silent and latch-less close and a non-visible strike plate when open. This solution is not fire-rated.
Impact seals
Unlike standard wraparound systems, Envo Flush includes impact seals for both acoustic and fire requirements, and to absorb additional shock on closing.
Optional door leaf
Most of our clients will order door leaves in addition to our Flush system which can be provided in a primed finish or veneer of your choice.
